VERY VERY nice step. Bought a new 2020 RAM Power Wagon and boy it is a difficult task to get onto the bumper to get in the bed. Stock it has 14.3inches of ground clearance to the body. I had the factory hidden step ordered but it was on back order. Searching for alternatives I found out other products only goes to a rating of 300lbs. Which for most folks is fine but if you are built for torque & not for speed like me that is an issue. For those of us that exceed that rating there are a very slim amount of options on the market.
So I thought of hitch mounted options but didn’t want something to elongate an already behemoth of a truck. I came across this site and saw this step, knowing nothing else about it I felt the price was fair so I tried it. Just received it today and WOW I am very pleased with the build quality & finish. This thing is built like a little tank, heavy, complete welds & extremely positive locking mechanism for the foot plate. I am just very very happy with it and having not yet mounted it I know it will be perfect for my application. OH and it has a 650lb rating. No need to worry will this break. Will definitely come back for future items.
